The Darwin Street Art Festival is an annual event in September. Different street artists from around the world come to the CBD and Northern Suburbs of Darwin to turn dull walls into beautiful works of art.
About the Street Art Festival
The Darwin Street Art Festival was launched in 2017 as an initiative of the Northern Territory Major Events Company, supported and funded by the Northern Territory Government. In the first year, the murals were done by high-profile and local artists.
Due to its success it become a recurring festival which takes place every year in September. In 2019 the Street Art Festival has been expanded and taken to a higher level. The murals are now realised by the world’s best street artists.
