Penguin Parade
Phillip Island is known by the famous Penguin Parade. Every year thousands of tourists joining this funny touristic attraction. To be honest, it’s quite nice to see. We had to wait for a while and it was very cold weather, but when the parade started I forgot this all.
Penguins are funny animals, and it’s good to see how the people treat the penguins. It’s not allowed to use camera lights and tourists must sit on a grandstand during the parade.

Beautiful coastlines
One of the things that I like about Phillip Island are the beautiful coastlines. It’s a very green island with a lot of wonderful nature. We drove to Erehwon Point Reserve and made a beautiful walk along the coast. Huge green trees, colorful flowers and amazing beaches attracted my attention.
Cape Woolamai
Awarded as one of the best surfing beaches in the country, Cape Woolamai is an undiscovered gem. Huge waves and a 4200 meter long beach, a real surfing paradise. If you don’t have not enough surf experience, Smiths Beach will be a good alternative.
The Pinnacles
Another great place and one the most scenic attractions on the island is the Pinnacles. Enjoy the dramatic granite rock structures along the coast during a hike. The Pinnacles is a photogenic attraction that you don’t want to miss when you’re on the island.
Cowes
If you like more vibrant places, you can visit Cowes. Have a diner in seaside restaurants and enjoy live music in the evening. Cowes has many shops and nice cafés, and it’s especially during the holidays a vibrant place.
And there’s so much more to explore on Phillip Island.
